Sorrento is a small town of 20000 people, more or less. It is a traditional hospitable place with 150 hotels, hundres of pubs and bars, and a historical center full of little shops where you can buy the traditional liquer made out of lemons, the 'limoncello', and a musical-box the hand-made inlaid wood work famous all over the world.
Sorrento is in the best position to reach all the other town, islands from, just think that in 20 minutes you reach Capri, one of the most beautiful island in the world, in 30 minutes you can reach Pompeii or the Amalfi Coast and 60 minutes Naples.
